Delivery and Payments
Delivery Policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 1 - 2 working days excluding SA public holidays (personalised items may take up to 5 working days to process, excluding SA public holidays).
All orders are dispatched via a courier service unless a collection option is selected. Delivery is available to majority of South African addresses based on areas dependent on scope of delivery coverage by the courier service.
No orders shall be dispatched from our premises until full payment has cleared in our account.
Items will be delivered to the address, PAXI or PARGO point specified online during the checkout process. We are not responsible for incorrect delivery address, PAXI or PARGO point information being supplied to us.
Delivery cost will be dependent on package size, delivery address and courier selection.
In certain cases, the courier may require a surcharge to deliver to areas considered to be remote or high-risk. Deliveries to outlying areas such as farms or small towns may also be subject to additional charges. Should this be the case, we will contact the customer to discuss surcharges or alternative delivery options. Should an agreement not be reached between ourselves and the customer, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the customer in full.
The courier delivery generally takes 2 to 5 working days based on delivery location (Please note that courier delivery lead times may increase during high demand periods e.g. Black Friday, Festive period, etc.). Deliveries are made during weekdays, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm excluding weekends and SA public holidays. If you choose a PAXI option for delivery, they normally take 7 - 9 working days to have a parcel delivered to a PAXI point. PARGO generally takes 2 - 5 working days to deliver your order.
In the event where goods have been shipped out via third party courier service providers, and a reasonable number of delivery arrangements and/or attempts are proven to be unsuccessful due to the customer/recipient not responding, unreachable or not cooperating, goods may be returned to the third-party courier's warehouse or back to us at Dainty á La Mode. The customer may be held liable for the return transport costs.
You will be sent a Waybill tracking number via email when your order is being processed for delivery. Use the below website and enter the waybill number to track the delivery status.

We make use of Payfast, Paystack and YOCO payment services which allows you to make quick and secure payments. These are reputable and trusted platforms to make payments. For further information regarding security certifications e.g. Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) please visit the relevant payment services website.

Please note: Orders will only be processed once payment reflects in our account. Banks transfers can take up to 2 - 3 working days. This excludes public holidays and weekends. If you require your order to be processed quicker, we recommend making payment via the PayFast option. If payment does not reflect in our account after 10 working days, your order will be cancelled on our system.
